Terms of Use

These Terms are an agreement between you and ApexForm Life Pty Ltd (ABN 11 698 784 904) ("ApexForm Life", "we", "us" or "our") for use of the Paradigm mobile application and related services.

Effective 19 August 2026.

1. Acceptance and App Store terms

By creating an account or using Paradigm, you agree to these Terms and the Paradigm Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Paradigm.

If you obtain Paradigm through Apple's App Store, Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement also applies to the licence supplied through Apple. These Terms additionally govern the Paradigm account, online processing and service features.

2. Adults only

You must be at least 18 years old to create or use a Paradigm account. By continuing past the adult-confirmation screen, you confirm that you are 18 or older.

3. What Paradigm is

Paradigm is a general-wellness and self-reflection product. It helps adults record reflections, review possible patterns, and consider optional reflective actions.

Paradigm is not a medical, psychological, counselling, crisis, diagnostic, treatment or emergency service. It does not replace a qualified professional and must not be used to make urgent, medical, safety-critical, employment, insurance, credit or legal decisions.

If you may be in immediate danger or need urgent support, contact local emergency services or an appropriate qualified service. Do not wait for or rely on Paradigm.

4. AI-assisted content

Paradigm uses automated and AI-assisted systems to generate optional readings and prompts from information you choose to submit. Outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, unexpected or unsuitable for your circumstances. They are possibilities for reflection, not facts or professional conclusions.

You remain responsible for evaluating an output and deciding whether to choose Yes, Adjust, Unsure or No, or act on it. You can later change that response. Only interpretations you accept with Yes or rewrite using Adjust are eligible to inform later AI-assisted pattern maps or weekly summaries; Unsure, No/not-a-fit and otherwise unconfirmed interpretations are excluded from that synthesis. We do not guarantee a particular personal, wellbeing, performance or behavioural outcome.

5. Accounts and security

You must provide information you are entitled to use, keep access to your account secure, and promptly tell us if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless the law provides otherwise.

Passwordless codes must not be shared. Restricted beta or App Review credentials may be used only by the reviewer they were issued to and for their intended review purpose. We may take proportionate steps to protect the service, investigate abuse, correct an entitlement, or suspend compromised access.

6. Your content and recordings

You retain ownership of content you submit. You give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, transmit, process, adapt and display that content only as reasonably needed to provide, secure, support and improve the features you request, comply with law, and enforce these Terms.

Do not secretly record another person, submit information you do not have the right to use, or include unlawful, infringing or seriously harmful content. You are responsible for obtaining any permission required for another person's voice or information.

7. Acceptable use

You must not misuse Paradigm, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security or service availability, evade usage or payment limits, automate access without permission, introduce malicious code, impersonate another person, or use the service unlawfully.

8. Subscriptions and purchases

Some features require a paid subscription. The price, billing period and any available trial or introductory terms are shown before purchase.

An App Store subscription is charged to your Apple Account and renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Manage or cancel it through your Apple Account subscription settings.

If you already purchased a supported web subscription, the relevant payment provider's disclosed terms apply. Contact support@apexformlife.com if you need help managing or cancelling that web subscription. Deleting your Paradigm account or the app does not cancel an App Store or web subscription.

Apple or the relevant payment provider handles payment and refund requests under its rules, subject to rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9. Account deletion

You can initiate permanent account deletion in Paradigm under Settings → Delete Account. Deletion removes the account and associated content from active systems as described in the Privacy Policy. Store transaction or legally required records may remain with the relevant provider or for a required period.

10. Intellectual property

Paradigm, its software, branding, interface, content supplied by us, and underlying methods and technology are owned by or licensed to ApexForm Life and protected by law.

Subject to these Terms and applicable store terms, we grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Paradigm for your own lawful purposes. No ownership of Paradigm's technology or methods is transferred to you.

You must not copy, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, extract, scrape, disclose or attempt to reconstruct protected parts of Paradigm except where applicable law expressly permits an act that cannot lawfully be restricted.

11. Availability and changes

We may maintain, update, replace or discontinue features. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Where a material change adversely affects an active paid service, we will provide any notice or remedy required by law.

12. Consumer guarantees and liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies a guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Paradigm is provided without guarantees beyond those that cannot be excluded. Where liability can lawfully be limited, our liability is limited to the available statutory remedy or, where permitted, supplying the service again or paying the cost of doing so.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Paradigm at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, material breach, unlawful conduct, non-payment, or protection of users or the service. We will act fairly and provide notice where reasonably practicable and required by law.

14. Privacy

The Paradigm Privacy Policy explains the information collected, automated processing, service providers, overseas processing, retention, rights and deletion.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Paradigm or applicable requirements change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice where a material change requires it. Continued use after an effective change constitutes acceptance only where permitted by law.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. Courts with jurisdiction in Western Australia may hear disputes, without limiting any non-excludable right you have to bring a matter elsewhere.
