AFOS / Training

A workspace is not a habit.

An AFOS subscription gives your team somewhere to record how decisions get made. Training is what makes them actually do it. These programmes are priced on their own, because the work is real and pretending otherwise helps nobody.

Remote · Half day to 30 days · Up to 10 seats · From US$2,900

Why it is priced separatelyAdoption is the work, not the setup

Every AFOS tier includes getting your workspace live and configured. That is setup, and it is included. What setup cannot do is change how ten people behave in a meeting — which decisions they bring, what evidence they attach, whether anyone returns to the record three months later to see how it went.

That change is a training problem. Charging for it separately keeps both halves honest: you can buy the software without buying the programme, and when you do buy the programme you can see exactly what you are paying for.

The programmesThree depths, one method

AFOS Foundations

Half day, up to ten seats

One remote session. Everyone leaves having put a real decision of their own through AFOS — their evidence, their reasoning, their record. Not a sandbox exercise.

US$2,900 per cohort
AFOS Operator Program

Foundations plus a 30-day embed

Foundations, then two clinics across the following month working on decisions that have actually landed. Ends with certification measured against your workspace activity, not attendance.

US$5,500 per cohort
AFOS Enterprise Rollout

Multi-cohort and train-the-trainer

Successive cohorts, plus your own enablement lead trained to run the ones after that. For organisations past a single team.

US$1,900 design, then US$4,900 per delivery day

With a pilotThe bundle

Most teams starting a 90-day guided pilot add Foundations at the same time, because a pilot that nobody knows how to run evaluates nothing.

Pilot + Foundations

US$6,900 together

The US$4,500 guided pilot and a US$2,900 Foundations cohort, bought together and scheduled in the pilot’s first fortnight. Saves US$500 against buying them separately.

Already subscribed

Foundations on its own

If you already run an AFOS Team workspace, Foundations attaches to it directly. No pilot required.

The syllabusWhat a cohort covers

  1. 01Decision triage

Which decisions belong in AFOS and which do not. The most common failure is a team that logs everything, or nothing.

  2. 02Grounding a decision

Assembling the context and evidence a recommendation actually rests on, so the reasoning survives the meeting it was made in.

  3. 03Running structured challenge

Putting a real recommendation through review without it becoming theatre, and without one voice in the room deciding the outcome by seniority.

  4. 04Sign-off and the record

Who decides, what gets written down, and why that matters when the question comes back in a quarter.

  5. 05Outcome review

Closing the loop, so a decision becomes something the organisation can learn from rather than something it merely did. Covered properly in the Operator Program, where there are real outcomes to review.

What we askWhat is required of you

A live workspace

An AFOS Team subscription or a guided pilot already underway. We do not train teams that have nowhere to put the work.

People who decide

Up to ten seats, filled by people who actually make or shape decisions. Observers dilute a cohort.

Three real decisions

Live ones, agreed in a short call before the session. Hypotheticals teach nothing that survives contact with the week after.

An internal owner

One person accountable for adoption after we leave. Without this, cohorts revert inside a month.

How it is judgedWhat counts as it having worked

Training that cannot be measured is a day out of the office. Both programmes are assessed against activity in your own workspace, and the assessment is agreed in writing before we start.

Foundations

Within 14 days

Every attendee has grounded and recorded at least one real decision of their own.

Operator Program

Within 30 days

The cohort has used at least 60% of its monthly deliberation allowance and closed at least three outcome reviews.

If it falls short

One remediation clinic

Included in the price, followed by one re-measure. If it still falls short, we say so plainly rather than invoicing around it.

SchedulingCohort dates and capacity

Cohorts are delivered remotely and run twice monthly. That cap is deliberate: training is delivered personally, and a calendar that promises more than one person can deliver is a calendar that disappoints somebody. Organisations needing more throughput than that should look at Enterprise Rollout, where your own enablement lead takes over.

Prices are in US dollars and exclude tax. Australian customers are invoiced in Australian dollars with GST; supplies to customers outside Australia are GST-free exports. A 50% deposit is payable before pre-work begins, with the balance invoiced on the adoption measurement above.

Tell us which team, and which decisions.

A short note about who would be in the room and what they are deciding is enough to start. We will reply personally with an honest read on fit, including if a cohort is not what you need yet.
